Michael Scott Teed, born in Pensacola, Florida on March 31, 1953, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Known to his family & friends as Teedo, his parents were Delmont E. Teed and Janie M. Benventi. He was raised by Delmont and Joanne Boutin Teed.
He grew up and went to schools in Maine and Florida in the early 60's and as an adult lived in Florida, mostly in the Winter Haven and Auburndale area.
He worked in construction and the trucking industry for many years, drove big rigs across country for various businesses, and got to see many parts of our great country. His last job was Revenu Trucking in 2021.
As a young man, Teedo traveled to California to live with his mother for awhile. He got to know some of her family & friends. He ran a prison ministry helping others in the hopes of showing them a better way of life. He always had a friendly hello to stangers and became friends with many. He was always helping others and was a great and loyal friend to many who knew him. Teedo enjoyed his Harley, boat & being with all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.
His last days were spent living in Maine with his brother David & his wife Dawn, as he suffered with liver disease. He'd spend many hours talking with his friends on the phone everyday. This brought him much joy and many laughs in his final days. A strong and courageous man who maintained his sense of humor and willingness to contiue on as long as he could. Loved by many, forgotten by none.
