Timothy L. Hopkins, of Augusta, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, March 25, 2021 following long-term illness.
He was born in Windsor on January 17, 1955, the son of Douglas Hopkins and Barbara (Andrews) Clifford.
Tim enjoyed buying and selling cars. He was a skilled mechanic and liked fixing cars in his spare time. His true passion in life was his family. Nothing was more important to him than his wife and daughters. Those who knew Tim, knew how big his heart was.
Tim was predeceased by his parents. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley Hopkins of Augusta, daughters Cheryl Hopkins, and her significant other Douglas Batchelder, of Augusta, and Pamela Hopkins, and her fiancé, Abram Patenaude of Saco; his brothers, Douglas Hopkins, and his wife, Susan, of Chelsea, Clifton Hopkins, and his wife, Julie, of Windsor, and Thomas Hopkins, and his wife, Darlene, of Seattle, Wash.; his sister, Helen Emery, and her husband, Richard, of Florida; his stepsisters, Linda Bailey of Randolph, and Joan Lavoie of West Gardiner; several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
