My thoughts and prayers to the family of one of the greatest soldiers I ever had the honor of serving with in the MeARNG. Although I have not seen Mr. Michaud in well over 30 years as a member of the 'ol' HHD 286th S&S Bn. I vividly recall the many good times he had during those years so long ago at 'camps' all over the country. He was a man of honor, courage, dependability and faith; the greatest of these, I believe, was his faith in God, family, country. Mr. Michaud has departed from this earth, to reside with his Lord and savior per scripture and we will see him again. May the memories his family holds dear to their hearts be of some condolence during this difficult time. God bless the family during this period.

Mrs. Michaud and family, I am sorry for your loss and hope you are finding comfort in each other at this time. You and Mr. Michaud were kind enough to let me do a year-long nature study in your "back 40" a few years back. I recall spending a couple hours in your sunny back room, watching birds and nature and telling stories. And then Mr. Michaud shared great veggies from the garden. What a kind and neighborly person! I hope good memories and love will keep your spirits strong in the times ahead.

Ed, Mrs. Michaud and family,
I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Michaud. I did not know him well, but I can guess he was a pillar of your family, and this has been a tough year for you all. I hope that in some small way it helps to know that Peg and I are thinking of you.
