Linda K. Dutil, age 72, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021 surrounded by family members following a long illness. She was born in Augusta, ME on May 12, 1948 a daughter of the late Merton and Viola Knowles.
Linda graduated from Cony High School in 1966. She attended the Augusta School of Business in 1967.
She spent most of her life as a stay at home mother. Linda Dutil was known by her family to be a loving, nurturing, caring and compassionate mother who put her family at the forefront of life. Linda enjoyed many things including gardening, painting, quilting, knitting and talking to the loons on Spectacle Pond. She was a tremendous cook and baker to the point where she created her own cookbook with her secret recipes to pass along to her children. As a homemaker, Linda was a woman of many talents to which all family members loved and enjoyed.
Linda was pre-deceased by her husband, Raymond N. Dutil; a daughter, Pamela E. Dutil; a stepdaughter, Denise M. Woods and a step-son, Raymond N. Dutil, Jr.
