I was to become a CNA and Jean was my mentor that I trained under. She taught me well and I am forever grateful. Her husband worked with my late husband at Statler Tissue the paper mill in Augusta,Maine. I would like to ofer our sympathy in their loss of Jean. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Jean once said to me in that thick Maine accent… I could never live down there as everyone is always in a rush – which, to be honest – she was onto something. Although I don’t remember the specifics of the conversation, I do remember that particular comment. It is a gentle reminder to slow down…which I plan to do today in honor or Aunt Jean. So very sorry Sharon, Stuart, Carol, Adam, and April – thinking of you all. Rest in Peace Aunt Jean, you will be missed. Russell

I was so sorry to read of Jean's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her for many years. She was one of the unsung hereos. Such a kind & gentle soul. Dedicated to her patients & always someone you could rely on. I think that my favorite memory of her was at Halloween when she would dress up in her over the top glamour costume with a tube of red lipstick in her pocket. When she'd get near a patient or co-worker she would whip out that tube of lipstick, smear it all over her mouth, kiss them & advise, "Don't wipe it off. I'm going to be a star dahling!" My condolences to all who loved & cared for her.
