Sandy was loved by everyone at Farrington Elementary School. I worked with her in my classroom for two years and it always amazed me how she could work with the most challenged and remain calm, loving, yet at the same time making sure that the students under her charge participated in learning and did their best with her help. She was a wonderful cook and would bring delicious treats in for us and every time I see raspberry flavoring I think of her as she would scour the market for it so she could make special treats with it. Sandy was a woman who loved freely and would help anyone if she could. She was very proud of her family, always worried about her children as moms do and spoke lovingly about her husband all the time. She wanted nothing more than to have everyone be happy in their lives. She was a remarkable woman who will be missed by so many, but she is now in our hearts and in the hearts of her former students so she lives on through what she taught all of us. I know that she is okay and no doubt blessed to see members of her family that have passed before her. My prayers for her family❤️ and their own healing process.
