Micheal S. Holland - age 52, of Oakland, and formerly of Bangor, passed away on Dec. 23, 2019 in Augusta after a three-year battle with cancer.
Micheal was born on May 24, 1967 in Willimantic, CT the son of Thomas A. Holland and Delores A. (Philbrook) Holland. He grew up in Willimantic and worked at Franklin Mushroom Farm and built houses. After graduation from Windham Tech as a journeyman carpenter, his family moved to Bangor, ME where he worked one winter building houses. Then, he began his 33-year career at Conifer Industries Inc, KFC/Taco Bell, most recently as an area director.
He is predeceased by his father, Thomas Holland.
Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Diana Holland; two daughters, Shiela Nevells and her boyfriend Rob DeVilleneuve, and Brittany Holland and her fiancé Danny Easter and their son Lukas Holland; his mother, Delores Holland and her boyfriend Chad Woods; two brothers; Tom Holland and his wife Lisa, and Greg Holland and his wife Anna and their children.
Micheal enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and especially spending time with his grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 until 3:00 PM on Sunday Jan. 12, 2020 at the American Legion Hall, 7 Legion Way, (formerly known as 213 Capitol St.) Augusta, ME.
