Carolyn J. Bragg, age 84, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the Country Manor Nursing Home with her loving family around her. She was born in Windsor, ME on September 9, 1935 a daughter of the late Elbridge and Irene (Bartlett) Jones.
Mrs. Bragg attended Erskine Academy.
She had been employed most of her life spending her younger years on Monhegan Island every summer. She also spent a lot of years working in the family restaurant (Nelson's Restaurant) most of her jobs were cooking for people, including a cook a Togus, a dietary aide at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta.
Mrs. Bragg was a Life Time member of the Windsor Fair Association. She enjoyed any and all time spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved the simple things in life.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Edson “Bub” M. Bragg; her brother, Lewis Jones and her infant sister, Elizabeth Jones.

Carolyn was one of the sweetest people I've known. She was always giggling and making wise cracks! I have fond memories of her walking down the hallway, spotting me, doing a little dance with a smile and laugh, and always ending our encounter with a hug. I'll never forget when she had to explain to me what "pedal pushers" were. Man, did she laugh knowing i didn't have a clue what those were, and that became our little inside joke. She always listened to me when i needed a friend to talk with. She loved saying "you always make such a fuss over me", and it was always followed by her smile and a wink. I will always hold memories of Carolyn and how genuine she was, dear to my heart. Sending so much love to her family and friends. Rest easy Carolyn, 'til we meet again.
