Joseph B. Poulin - age 94, formerly of South Street, died January 10, 2019 at Maine Veterans Home after an extended illness. He was born in Augusta, ME on Nov. 27, 1924 the son of Joseph A. Poulin and Albertine (Giroux) Poulin.
Mr. Poulin served honorably in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Veterans Administration Hospital at Togus for 35 years.
Mr. Poulin was a member of St. Michael Parish at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, a Life Member of the Calumet Club, a Life Member of American Legion Post #2 of Augusta and a member of the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge #964 of Augusta.
His wife, Dolores (Daniels) Poulin, predeceased him. He was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Surviving is a sister, Gloria Koebbe, a brother, Joseph A. Poulin, Jr. and many nieces and nephews
There are no public visiting hours and no funeral service planned. Committal prayers with military honors will be held in the Spring at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
