Charlotte Corriveau (Main)
Charlotte Corriveau died August 28, 2018 in Brunswick, Maine. She was 89. She was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Henrietta (White) Main. She was predeceased by her husband Abel Corriveau. Born in Crystal, Maine, Charlotte grew up on a family farm and pursued a degree in teaching which then became her lifelong career, teaching hundreds of children during her many years in the classroom.
Charlotte married Abel Corriveau and moved to Augusta where she completed her final 20 years of teaching at St. Mary’s (Michael’s) School.
She is survived by her two daughters, Eve McGregor of Brunswick, ME and Anne Corriveau of Kittery, Maine and their respective husbands Brian McGregor and John Bolduc, her two granddaughters Amanda and husband Brian Lovejoy and Laura Wing of Topsham, ME and her great-grandson William, and by her sister Eleanor Muir of Provo, Utah.
There will be no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, Sept. 5th at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Western Avenue, Augusta. Burial will follow in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta, ME. In lieu of flowers, please donate to: Bread of Life Ministries, 157 Water St., Augusta, ME 04330.
