Rose Marie Hall – age 45, of Augusta, ME, died unexpectedly Nov. 15, 2017 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. She was born in Rockland, Maine on July 31, 1972 the daughter of predeceased Kenneth N. Hall, Sr. and Helen E. (Austin) Hall.
Rose was employed by Maine Veterans Home in Augusta for several years. This year she earned 2017's Employee of the Year. She admired her work and she would go the extra mile for her residents, whom she adored. Aside from her work, she enjoyed biking side by side with Duane every year in the Dempsey Challenge. Rose had impeccable taste and took pride in her appearance, you would never see her in public not looking her best. She enjoyed Sunday brunches at the Senator and traveling. Rose spent her free time shopping with her sisters, laughing with her brother and spoiling her grandchildren. Her family was an important part of her. She didn't go a day without talking to her children.
Surviving is her soul mate and fiance, Duane M. Henderson of Augusta, ME; Daughter, Kendra R. Swails her husband Jason, of Augusta; Son, Daniel J. Couto, of Augusta; Brother Kenneth Hall Jr., of Houlton; Two sisters, Amelia and husband Dean Grierson, of Waldoboro, Sue Luce and husband Jake Luce, of Union; two grandchildren Melliah and Macein Swails; Several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held Saturday Nov, 25th 2017 between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Kennebec Valley Assembly of God, 44 Hallowell Rd. in Chelsea. Private burial will be at Ash Point Cemetery in Owls Head with her parents.
