David "Dave"  Patenaude
AUGUSTA, MAINE
David W. Patenaude - age 73, formerly of Roncalli Apartments, died Nov. 6, 2017 at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Care at Gray Birch Drive after an extended illness. He was born in South Weymouth, MA on June 17, 1944 the son of Irenee’ A. Patenaude and Madeline T. (Pepin) Patenaude.
Prior to his retirement, David was employed by Associated Grocers of Maine for several years. He was previously employed for 35 years by the family grocery store, Patenaude’s Superette in Augusta.
David was a member of St. Michael Parish at St. Augustine Church, a member of Cushnoc Senior Citizens and the Calumet Club.
He was predeceased by his father in 2014.
Surviving is his wife, Yvonne G. (Prevost) Patenaude of Augusta, ME; two sisters: Dorothy P. Butler of Augusta, ME and Elizabeth J. Patenaude of Sidney, ME; five brothers: Dominic Patenaude and his wife Suzanne and Thomas R. Patenaude and his wife Elise, all of Sidney, ME, Denis L. Patenaude and his wife Gail of Belgrade, ME, and Todd J. Patenaude and his wife Johanne and George R. Patenaude and his wife Louise, all of Augusta, ME; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no public visiting hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday Nov. 14, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern, Ave., Augusta, ME. Burial of the urn will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Road, Augusta.
